What is the Pokemon Trading Card Game?
Pokemon TCG (Collectable Card Game) is a trading card game for 2 players in which each player uses a deck of 60 cards to battle against their opponent.
What do you need?
To play, you will need a 60 card deck, tokens for keeping track of damage are helpful but optional. We sell everything you need to play at Dark Fire Cafe.
What do we offer?
We offer demonstration games for all ages, as well as having sample decks for new players and children to practice with. Wednesday nights consist of casual battles, and competitive League challenges (once a month). Sunday mornings are our kids sessions for trading and gaming alike.
On site we stock a wide variety of Pokemon products and accessories.

Weekly Play! Pokemon League nights
These are nights of casual battles and trades, to hang out and play with like-minded fans!
When:
- Wednesday Night 6:30-10:30
- Once a month League Challenge (see below)
What do you need:
- 60 Card Deck, premade decks available in store
- Pokemon Trainer Club ID
- League challenges require a printed decklist
- Optional: Cards for trades

£6 Table fee payable on the night.

Sunday
Children’s pokemon mornings.
The first hour consists purely of trades, and then in the second hour, the team helps guide trainers through playing the game and provide demos for new players.
